Politically Homeless

This blog is created as a forum for the increasingly large number of voters in Marion County, Florida who consider themselves to be "Politically Homeless". We are individuals who are frustrated with political parties and discouraged by "politics as usual". Many of us have no registered party affiliation. Others stay registered with a party only to vote in primaries, but no longer identify with the party's current political direction. We encourage you to post your comments.

Write-In Campaign: Who's Participating?

IS THIS FOR REAL?.... We heard there is an active, ongoing campaign to get voters to write in Nancy Stacy for House of Representatives, District #24. The campaign seems to have been started by:

A sizable group of voters from all political parties who are sending a signal of their dissatisfaction with Kurt Kelly as a candidate and/or the method one of his supporters used to prevent a majority of District 24 registered voters from being eligible to vote in the primary.

We want to hear from you. Will the effort to encourage writing in Ms. Stacy for House District #24 get more support or will it fizzle out? Tell us what you think.

There’s discussion about Stacy’s write in on the thread below this one. Take a look at those comments, and then continue the discussion here.

Also, participate in our Straw Poll concerning whether or not you will write in Ms. Stacy on the ballot. Click the link below:

I'm amazed at the irresponsibility of this blog and the voters as well. Do you really think that a write in has a prayer? All this does is show how immature you bloggers are. Just because you despise the winner does not mean that you should not take your voting rights seriously. So you would rather have someone with absolutely no experience representing you in Tally? No offense Nancy, just would rather you run locally first - School Board maybe? They could use you!

6:25- your spelling is atrocious. That's why Nancy will NOT win. The voters won't even be able to spell her name as well.
Personally, I think she would be a great school board member.

You notice these Kelly people always suggest that anyone who dares oppose their darling Kurt should run for some other position. I find that hilarious!

Nancy likely won't win, but there are many who would rather cast their vote for her than Kurt.

I'm just waiting things out until Damon can get another shot.

We should all want the system to count people’s votes according to their intent. I’ve seen several spellings of Nancy Stacy’s first and last names on this blog and people suggesting that misspelling her name might invalidate a vote. I’ve been curious what criteria are used in counting write-ins and what portion of people trying to vote for Stacy will have their votes counted.

I was in the Marion County Supervisor of Elections office recently on another matter and made an inquiry about this. Based on what I was told there by an employee who consulted a deputy supervisor of elections and based on review of two pertinent rules promulgated by the Florida Department of State’s Division of Elections (1S-2.0031 Write-in Procedures and 1S-2.027 Clear Indication of Voter’s Choice on a Ballot), I offer the following comments.

If you want to vote for Nancy Stacy and maximize the chances that your vote is counted, then you should fill in the bubble that indicates you are voting a write-in AND write-in her name,” Nancy Stacy,” correctly on the line for a write-in. I would think a similar procedure would apply for the machines they use for early voting.

Any abbreviation, misspelling, or other minor variation in the form of the name of a candidate is supposed to be disregarded in determining the validity of a write-in vote, so your vote should be counted even with such imperfections in how you cast it.

A write-in vote is only supposed to be counted on an optical scan ballot if the oval or arrow next to the write-in space is filled in unless the canvassing board is required to determine voter intent, so you risk your vote not getting counted if you write-in a name but fail to fill in the oval or arrow indicating that you are voting for a write-in candidate.

If I were campaigning for a write-in, I would have a detailed conversation with the Supervisor of Elections about the procedures, which I have not, but the above information should give people a good idea of the situation.

The rules cited above can be found at http://election.dos.state.fl.us/laws/AdoptedRules/ElectionsRules.shtml.

I'm the one laughing. It is utterly ridiculous how kelly bashers are so enraged that they did not win on June 5. Reminds me of Al Gore and all of his whining.I find THAT hilarious.

Kelly will win on June 26. The ONLY people so against Kelly are the ones on this blog- maybe a total of 10.
To set the record straight, there are many MORE who are for Kelly. He won fair and square in this American system.

Kelly will hold his own in 2008 as well. He will go to Tallahassee and represent his district with what is needed. A strong mature and experienced voice.

HE IS THE MAN FOR THE JOB!

For the BEST interest of the community, it would be best for the Republican party to unite behind him. Get over your bitterness and LET GO!

Hatred will eat you up inside- proof of this blog and all of its mean, angry and OUT OF LINE comments.

Hey Damon Chick!
You're right this will be an exciting election!! Will people turn out for Nancey Stacey??

I heard that Gov. Christ is coming by the Veteran Memorial for Kurt Kelly and Charlie Dean next Saturday morning. Also, I heard that Bill McCollum, Florida's Attornery General is supporting Kurt Kelly.

I wish Nancee would get these endorsements! Go Nancey Stacey!!

At 2:53 PM, June 16, 2007, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Is this true? The governor is coming next Saturday to show support for Dean and Kelly. What time?

I'm proud of Damon for such a good showing. I voted for Damon on June 5. However, watching this blog over the last several weeks has made me take a better look at Kelly. I will NOW be supporting KELLY. I like what he has to say- addressing the issues. I'm appauled at the nasty rhetoric by some of the Damon people.

To the Kelly supporters, I believe Kelly will win. I know several Damon voters who WILL come out on June 26 and vote for Kelly( just like me).

Go Kelly!

You people get a life!

The Governor is not coming here for Kelly or Dean. Dean's campaign manager arranged this with the provision that the Governor is not appearing to endorse Dean or anyone. He's here to meet the people of Marion County, period!

Trying to attach his visit to an endorsement of Dean and Kelly is pathetic, and shows how out of touch you people are. You don't even need to spend time campaigning. If Kelly is concerned and fearful he is going to lose to a nothing write-in candidate, God help his campaign.

As for McCollum supporting him, I haven't seen his formal endorsement. However, Republicans usually support other Republicans in General Elections. The exception will be yours truly who will stay home on June 26.

I was beginning to feel left out on receiving political phone calls until this afternoon. I got a call from a nice lady who was doing a poll about the district #24 house election. She asked me if I knew the name of the write-in candidate. I told her I did and she asked me to tell her the person’s name, which I did--Nancy Stacy.

She then wanted to know if I knew the process for casting a vote for a write-in candidate. I told her I didn’t and she then asked if I would like to know how to do that. I said yes and she explained how to do it. If I had read the blog this morning I would have already known this since it is already posted above. She politely thanked me for my time and asked me to remember to vote on June 26.

Well, I’m now officially part of the political process, just like some of the rest of you!

ANON 3:15, it's sounds like you need to get a life.

I spoke to some folks who are in the politcal know in Tallahassee yesterday afternoon, and they are telling me this....

Gov. Crist is coming doing to Ocala next Saturday @9:30 AM to meet with people and support Dean and Kelly.

Also, my "in the know" friends mentioned that McCollum and other Republicans are supporting Kelly.
They really like his leadership abilities.

So, as I said earlier, you need to get a life, and accept it that Kelly and Dean are liked in their districts and in Tallahassee.

I received my absentee ballot yesterday, voted, and mailed it in this morning.

Go Kelly and Dean!!!

At 6:45 PM, June 16, 2007, Anonymous Anonymous said...

life is good, you might want to rethink that.

Let's see? Governor coming to Marion county to support Kelly from sources who are in the "political know". Why in gods name would a governor come to support a "special election" candidate whose opponent is a write-in?

One of two things. They are in the "political know" and understand that Kurt cant even get 40% of his own party's vote and actually have to do some work or maybe they could give a rats ass about Kurt since his "leadership skills" have a write-in candidate giving him a run for his money.

I think the gov is just passing thru. Nice try.

Lone Ranger: (aka) Kurt Kelly
Tonto: (aka) Perceptive Voter
------------------------------
The Lone Ranger and Tonto went camping in the desert. After they got their tent all set up, both men fell sound asleep.

Some hours later, Tonto wakes the Lone Ranger and says, "Kemo Sabe, look towards the sky, what you see ?"

The Lone Ranger replies , " I see millions of stars."

What that tell you " asked Tonto.

The Lone Ranger ponders for a minute then says, "Astronomically speaking it tells me there are millions of galaxies
and potentially billions of planets. Astrologically, it tells me that Saturn is in Leo. Time wise it appears to be approximately 3:15 in the morning. Theologically, the Lord is all-powerful and we are small and insignificant. Meteorogically, it seems we will have a beautiful day tomorrow."

What's it tell YOU Tonto?"

As of June 11, House District 24 candidate Nancy Stacy was registered as a voter with the Marion County Supervisor of Elections as a Republican.

The Star-Banner ran a story today on the Senate District 3 race that has an accompanying box that erroneously designates Stacy as “no party affiliation.” She is running as a qualified write-in, not a party nominee, meaning that her name will not appear on the ballot and that her party affiliation is not disclosed in advertising disclosures and official communications from the government, but that does not mean she has not declared a party affiliation in her voter registration. The term the Star-Banner has misused, “no party affiliation,” is the government’s official term for someone who has not declared a party affiliation in their voter registration. This is not the case with Stacy. They should have listed her the way she’s listed on the Division of Elections website: Nancy Stacy (WRI).

For anyone who is wondering, no, the fact that I recently purchased voter data does not necessarily mean that I’m involved with advertising in the current House District 24 race or the current Senate District 3 race. Shortly after elections, I routinely purchase snapshots of the Marion County voter data, including voter history, for use in development of predictive models for use at unspecified times in the future, which could be next week or next month or next year or some other time.

Kurt is the man and will do a great job in our legislature. Look at how his campaign conducted a great winning effort. He will be just as effective representing us. And you liberals can take that to the bank. He has the smarts over all of you. Kurt for Speaker of the House.

Heard Nancy today at a campaign luncheon and she seems excited about possibly getting a free pass to Tallahassee. Her comments shocked me but the crowd agreed with her. They were a bunch of old farts who don't care about us affording our own water. She wants to lower property taxes by selling our water. Can you believe 14 other politicians from coastal areas have offered their support because they despirately need water from us. She also wants a state wide school library book approval process she will push for the first day she gets to tallahassee. I love her library idea but the water deal scares me.

Kurt has accomplished nothing at the school system. He is a follower. Ironically, the only way he will have any chance in 08' in to go to Tally and keep is pontificating mouth shut and ride the wave.

Maybe he wins next week. Maybe he doesn't. This is for sure, the Marion Republicans will never fully unite behind him. Never ever. He is on borrowed time and the small group of individuals who think he is the second coming need to brace themselves.

Correction- Set the record straight.
Kelly DOESNOT SINK TO DIRTBALL TACTICS. I saw what he did to damon and pornell- he beat them on June 5. Actually- PORNELL shot himself in the foot with such a liarious mailer. So don't even go that route- you will lose.

You are making me laugh so hard. I have NO HATRED in my heart. I just don't like to see such liars get away with all their vicious and malious statements about a good person, like Kelly.

As for the threesome, immoral is immoral and that is how they live. Rather sad and pathetic. What kind of fruit is falling from their trees of life? You can say what you want- again- truth will prevail.

GO KELLY-YOU WILL WIN AND YOUR SCOFFERS WILL THEN CRAWL BACK IN THEIR HOLES.

Mr. Pillsbury- you need to learn how to laugh. You sound pitifull.

All I hear is Herring and Crawford gripe on this blog. I think you two need to quit "bloggin" and work on "tryin" to help the Class of 2008 have a 100% graduation rate.

I agree with 11:30 PM - Funny how there are 5 school board members but yet Kelly is responsible for everything. Look at the minutes from their meetings or better yet, watch their meetings. Herring is never prepared and Mosley wants to spend miliions on metal detectors! Too bad our school board is a paid position instead of a volunteer board like other states have.

At 7:08 AM, June 20, 2007, Anonymous Anonymous said...

so the kelly doesn't sink to dirty tactics eh? well, first he tried to shaft mosely, lied about having anything to do with alvarez running against her, then begged forgiveness from her when it was time for him to run. he did everything he cud against herring four years ago, and crawford this year. he lied to yancey about the gun felony, hired rocky pennington--for gawd's sake that is enough to show what a scumbag he is. then he let pennington out of the bag with his scandelous phone campaign against townley probably breaking the law with a third party group that is supposed to be entirely apart from the candidate..

yeah, kelly won, and he'll be my representative, but dont think i fell off the watermelon truck last week. kelly is a dirt bag even if he is a christian. funny how christians come in all flavors. i prefer what my parents taught me.
and don't try to tell me he and nancy never talked about her qualifying as a writein.

You just got to love the classic Baptist holier than thou attitude of the Kelly camp.

Listen you kurt zombies. Go enjoy your year in the sun. Pontificate in Tally, run with the big boys. Hob-nob and bask in the sunlight.

Just every now and then don't forget to look down at your watch. Cause when the big hand gets to '08..........

I have firsthand knowledge in dealing with Kurt Kelly.

Turn a blind eye if you must but under pressure and backed into a corner he has no time for morals christianity or anything else. I have seen his ways and heard his mouth.

Christian on Sunday at First Baptist but Monday thru Saturday is a different story when it comes to his political career.

Simply has a inferior complex and does a great job covering it up.

At 10:19 AM, June 20, 2007, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Sorry Anon.- not a Baptist, nor a Catholic - I don't pretend to be either. I'm Pro-Choice; no one can dictate to me whom I should support. Especially "bloggers". Zombie? I think not. It's my business whom I vote for. I do not go around telling everyone whom I vote for (unlike you). That is a personal right. You will never know whom I vote for. Many voters tell candidates they will support them; mostly just to be kind, howeve when that curtain is drawn, it's a different story (as demonstated by Parnell's defeat).

At 11:22 AM, June 20, 2007, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Yes voting is personal right.

Although, on one hand you seem proud and confident of your non catholic non baptist pro choice way of life and then on other hand silent about yoru choice of candidates. Yes your choice and so be it.

Then again you may have a point. I wouldn't want to run around and say I voted for kurt either.

A few people on this blog have had their issues and debates with Nancy Stacy. However, I’m of the opinion she is a better candidate to fill Mr. Baxley’s State House of Representatives position than Kurt Kelly.

I know there has been joking on the blog about voting for “Howler the Monkey”. Don’t waste your vote on Howler. Seriously, Nancy represents many of the things people on this blog are looking for in an elected official. She is straight forward about her views; isn’t afraid to take a stand on tough issues; knows the problems of our community; doesn’t fear debate; has even occasionally admitted to being wrong; would not cave in to the Tallahassee special interests just to win an election; she is very loyal to her Party, but has friendships with those at the opposite end of her politics. Just a few examples of what Nancy brings to the job.

We would not be getting a typical Kelly type, do-nothing career politician in Nancy. She would fight for the people of Marion County first, and put political career progression on the backburner. Nancy would be a great replacement for that fire-brand political style our Marion County legislative group will be missing since Nancy Argenziano has moved to the PSC.

Republican, Democrat or NPA let’s all get on the bandwagon and write in Nancy Stacy on June 26!

7:37- Points that you mentioned about nancie stacie can be said of kelly as well.

I too have had business dealing with Kelly. It was a pleasure working with him. He was straight forward, to the point, respectful of the issue at hand, responsive, perceptive, level headed ,management minded and a superb problem solver.

Kelly is the man for the house seat. Give our community a voice in Tallahassee and vote Kurt Kelly on June 26.

Nancie is OK, but I vote for Kelly.

8:03- I have not just had one business dealing with kelly: I have had many. He is a man of integrity and of his word.

It is my opinion that he calls wrong when he sees it. There must be some inappropriate behavior that he has opposed on the school board. There is a vicious and vendictive hate extreme group that is hitting him hard. He must have struck a nerve when wrong was exposed.

Kurt, many are behind you and will come out on June 26.

I thought this section was about Nancy not Kurt Kelly. Here's what we all know:

1. Kurt WILL be elected on June 26 and serve until 2008 when he must run again. Does anyone really think otherwise?
2. Some people love the guy.
3. Some people can't stand the guy.
4. Most people could care less about Kelly, his family, his record, etc. Except for only a very few (3-4) who keep up an ongoing dialogue of no interest to most of us who enjoy the blog.
5. No one on the blog is going to change their mind about Kelly one way or the other.
6. Kelly will be challenged strongly in 2008--that's a given.
7. Move on to discussing the success, or lack of, concerning the campaign to get Nancy elected as a write-in and leave Kelly dangle out there until next year.

No wonder Kelly left the School Board - when you have to work with people who have no common sense what so ever (come on folks turning off the lights at night in our schools to save money!!!). Actually paying someone to tell them that? Duh. Even us common folks know that. Should have asked me; I wouldn't have charged them a dime. Another embarrasing School Board moment.

At 11:02 AM, June 21, 2007, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Yep, Now Kelly can move to the legislature and push the same program to assure the lights are turned out there. Unfortunately, the lights have been out in that group for many years. Kelly will just add to the lights out culture. Are you saying Kelly did not support what the Board agreed on this program? Better check your minutes

At 11:32 AM, June 21, 2007, Anonymous Anonymous said...

What "minutes" are you referring to? I was referring to the article in the paper with Mosley's quote. Didn't realize a vote was needed in order to turn off lights when not in use. Hey Barney - of coarse it is biased! I just wish the "blogmaster" would state the rules (being if you like Kelly, Baxley...do not blog here; you are not welcome). Remember, only 66 people voted! They only have about 100 members so what does that tell you? The only reason I started blogging here or even knew about this site was during the election last year when I got a phone call stating "hey, you should read the crap they are saying about Dave Alvarez". I was shocked at the lies that were told: not spanish, his father really isn't his father, he bankrupted Microdyne...on an on. I know that family and NONE of it was true. Just crap started by PWF and Bobbie D to try and discredit him because they were Mosley lovers. Now they do the same with Kelly. As long as the "bashing bloggers" continue with their heresay, there will be still be a few of us to defend what we know to be true. It really pisses them off that there are "invaders" on their blog.

If the blog is so unimportant and no one looks at it, why do some of you folks keep coming back? Duh!

I wouldn't know Kirt Kelly if I ran into him. I do know much about Damon Baxley and that he is a fine, young Christian man who has a great future in politics. It's just a matter of time.

Damon is the type of future politican who many on this blog should really get to know.

New to Blog,

We don't see you giving your name. So don't bash others for what you are also doing.

Not one supporter of Kelly has revealed their name. At least we know who Bobby D, PWF, Nancy Stacy and a few others are. If

The reason no names are being revealed is that only one or two people post all the Pro-Kelly comments. Why don't you check that out Blogmaster?

The Kelly group are gutless and don't have anywhere near the courage of those who provide their names.

I came onto this blog a year or so ago to discuss issues, not Kurt Kelly. One of the reasons I'm voting for Nancy Stacy is because of her courage.

I don't know and don't care what is said about Kelly. I'm not voting for him because I just don't think he will be a good State rep. and rather than not voting at all, I will vote for Nancy.

I had a few minutes to kill before an appointment Friday afternoon and stopped by the Marion County Supervisor of Elections office to see how the turnout was going in the District 24 State House race.

The turnout among eligible voters (only Republicans) for the District 24 special primary was 18.2 percent. In the special general election, all registered voters in District 24 registered by the May 29 deadline, regardless of party identification, are eligible to vote. As of 2:50 PM on Friday, a little over 2 percent of these voters had cast ballots either by returning absentee ballots or early voting.

I would offer 8 percent as a guesstimate for the final District 24 turnout in the special general election. In that case, about 40 votes would give Stacy 0.5 percent and equal the best performance for a state house race write-in exclusively responsible for closing a primary since the 1998 open primary constitutional amendment. About 360 votes would give her the same percentage county commission write-in candidate Ben Klein got in 2004 while running an active campaign. I’ve not seen evidence Stacy is running an active campaign.

Nearly half of District 24 registered voters are also eligible to vote in the State Senate District 3 race. One caveat is that some of these voters, especially Democrats, might choose to vote in the Senate District 3 race where there is a Democrat on the ballot, but not vote in the District 24 State House race where there is only one name on the ballot and both qualified candidates are Republicans. To the extent this happens, it will reduce the number of votes Stacy needs to reach a given percentage of the vote in her race for a given turnout level for voters residing in District 24.

Makos is a great place to eat! I have seen some of the young Republicans who supported Damon there. Don't believe all that you read on the blog about the place. I have also seen Sue Mosley there. So what?

I've seen Alvarez, or his twin brother, at Hooters. I think no less of him. Hooters also has good food.

Some people need to tread lightly on these value judgments of where someone should or should not be seen. Could open up a pandoras box on my good Christian friends who blog here.

Damonchix, stop in a check out Makos. You might meet some of your friends there.

To "Better Try Mako's" - You are a riot! Nothing at all wrong about dining there; working there as a bar maid is a different story. Hey maybe Mr. A is part owner of Hooter's. After all if you own part of a business it would look bad if you never ate there right? He doesn't look as good in the uniform as Moseley does though.

Thanks Brian Creekbaum. That 20 vote figure the Kelly supporters keep touting as the most Stacy will get may very well be in jeopardy. If even half of the pro-Stacy voters in the Blog Straw Survey can vote, she has 30 in the bag! Of course this being an unimportant Blog, think about all the possible Stacy voters outside of the meaningless homeless Blog. It could be mind boggling!

GO STACY!

grow up! what? we are now going to require that politicians only eat at certain establishments? Ken Ergle ate at piccadillys 5 times a week.

Of course you have no clue what makos is so you probably have never heard of ken ergle either.

Big deal if Mosley is barmaid, owner, or just the marketing consultant for Makos. Hell, if I had to sit by Kurt kelly every other week I would probably need to be near a bar myself!! Drinking or working or something.

Go nancy!!!!!

A clarification…

The sentence in my post above:

“In that case, about 40 votes would give Stacy 0.5 percent and equal the best performance for a state house race write-in exclusively responsible for closing a primary since the 1998 open primary constitutional amendment.”

Would also have been accurate if worded more broadly:

“In that case, about 40 votes would give Stacy 0.5 percent and equal the best performance for a state LEGISLATIVE race write-in exclusively responsible for closing a primary since the 1998 open primary constitutional amendment.”

This is because the history I cited in a June 12 post to a related thread is for 599 state legislative races (House and Senate, not just House), 38 of which were closed exclusively because a write-in qualified for the race.

Don't think the comments had anything to do with "eating" at establishments. Even I can read between the lines. No one cares where they dine so don't try to bring other names into the discussion that have nothing to do with the comment. Typical though. Skirt the issue. Good try though. I know I would need a drink or two, or three...if I had to be on a board with a man who can not read and women who wants to spend millions on metal detectors (although there should be plenty of money left over after all the savings on the electric bills).

So all the bragging about Nancy not getting more than 20 votes is no longer important. Could it be you are beginning to realize that many voters really don't like your boy Kelly and the issue is not whether he wins, but the fact he isn't popular enought to stop people from writing in in sizable numbers (by election standards).

That's reality, something no Kelly sups. on the blog understand or want to accept.

I’ve seen this stolen identity problem brought up on the Politically Homeless blog more than once in the past couple of years. I suggest people having this problem consider creating a registered account such as mine that is password protected.

I registered my real name as the display name of my registered account a few days after this blog started in 2005. On my screen and, I assume, on the screens of others, all the posts from my registered account are highlighted as hyperklinks. I’ve always wondered if the system would block people from posting under “Other” from using my name. The answer is “no” because I did a test post above using my real name without going through my registered account, but you could tell any future such post was a fake because that test post does not appear as a hyperlink as do posts from me from my account.

Since my display name is also my very rare, if not unique, real name, anyone posing as me would potentially be subject to legal action, an additional deterrent to misuse of my display name.

Went to Governor Charlie Crist’s appearance at Veteran’s Park this morning. I wanted to hear what he had to say about Kurt Kelly. Several of you on the blog had mentioned he was coming to Ocala to endorse Mr. Kelly. I didn’t hear a word about Mr. Kelly. Heard about Charlie Dean and Ken Pruitt (Senate Head) and how much the Governor appreciates them. About Mr. Kelly, absolutely nothing mentioned!

It was worth standing in the hot sun watching the ceremony to confirm what we heard throughout the whole campaign from Mr. Kelly---much hype but no substance to the claims.

By the way, attendance was not that good. There were more dignitaries sitting in their nice sun protected chairs than us common folk basking in the hot sun.

To Sonny - One blogger mentioned about Christ coming to Ocala endorsing/mentioning Kelly. So what. Don't try to make a big deal out of one comment by one blogger. The papers clearly stated what Christ's visit was for. Wonder why there was a poor turnout? Because it was only a publicity visit. Nothing more. Certainly not worth my time, as I knew why he was coming to Ocala; just to show his face.

At 7:28 PM, June 23, 2007, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Thank you Blogmaster - So tired of bloggers assuming whom everyone is and trying to claim that comments are made by certain people when they are not. There should be a way to do "other" and not have another person be able to assume that name. In fact, if you got rid of "Anonymous" and people had to sign in as "other" or blogger, that probably would get rid of the problem. That way people could still be "anonymous" (unless they choose to sign their real name) but no other person could use the "other" name once it was used. Not sure how to do it, but I do know it can be done.

At 7:29 PM, June 23, 2007, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Notice how the Kelly people always poor mouth everything that doesn't come out the way they say. I heard that Crist would be endorsing from four different spots on this blog and three of Kelly's contributors.

If Crist had even mentioned Kelly's name, that would have been interpreted as his endorsement.

You people are unbelievable!

Let me be sure I've got this straight. If only one blogger says something, then it's not important.

So, pray tell, why do you spend so much time here battling and disputing (frequently in a rude manner) statements made about Kelly by only one person?

At 7:40 PM, June 23, 2007, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Really Anony. 7:29? You are the one that is unbelievable. So who are those three contributors that made the comment? Another false statement made by a Kelly hater. I certainly was not "poor mouthing". Do you even bother to read what people write? I stated I could care less why Christ was here; period. Whether he endorsed anyone does not mean anything to me. Yes, I voted for Dean; yes I voted for Kelly; still doesn't matter to me if Christ endorses them or not. Did I vote for Christ? No. Quit putting words into people's mouths.

At 8:20 PM, June 23, 2007, Anonymous Anonymous said...

To Pray Tell - I don't think I am rude at all. You don't think using words like "doughboy" and "fat boy Alvarez" are rude comments? Of coarse you don't because they are aimed at folks you dislike. I was responding to his comment that "several" people made a big deal about Christ endorsing Kelly. What is true is one person made that comment. Not three, four....Never said that people's comments weren't important; just don't exaggerate the numbers. Be fair about what you are commenting about. Again, putting words into my mouth. All I care about is being truthful.
How do you know how much time I spend on this blog? Could it be that you are one of the folks the "blogmaster" was talking about?

Sonny----Another good reason to vote for NANCY STACY. She could give a flying flip whether or not Crist or any Tallahassee politicians endorsed her at Veteran Park or anywhere.

Also, looks like someone is trying to be cute (rude) by misspelling Governor Crist's name. It is not CHRIST. Stop making fun of it, especially the way you spelled it!

Yes sir/madam you are rude and crude and reflect poorly on Kelly by doing what you did.

Keep going with your nonsensical comments, and you'll give many of us reason to come after him even more so in 2008. I have never liked gloating winners. Of course, I guess he hasn't really won yet and that's why you continue to rant on in his defense.

I'm not voting for him or Stacy. They are both duds. My hope is on a good candidate surfacing in 2008.
